By using the Malý Dunaj web portal and mobile application (hereinafter "Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service is operated by Splavma s.r.o., Tomášovská 2/16, Nová Dedinka 900 29, ID No.: 53 485 424 (hereinafter "Provider").

2. Purpose and Scope of Service

The Service provides a digital guide, planner, and navigation for paddlers on the Malý Dunaj river. The application is intended solely as a supplementary navigational aid.

Please note that the mobile application uses your device's GPS module, which may impact battery life. Location access is required for proper navigation functionality.

River paddling is a sporting activity associated with the risk of injury, drowning, or property damage. Water is a natural element, and river conditions can change dynamically.

The Provider (Splavma s.r.o.) is not responsible for:

  • Discrepancies between digital map data and reality (fallen trees, debris, channel changes).
  • Injuries, accidents, or damages occurring during paddling.
  • GPS signal functionality, location accuracy, or mobile connection outages.
  • Decisions made by the user based on information from the application.

The user acknowledges that the application serves only as a supplementary navigational tool. The visual assessment of the situation on-site and one's own judgment are always decisive!

3. Safety Recommendations

  • Always wear life jackets
  • Check current water levels before paddling
  • Never paddle alone
  • Have a backup plan and communication
  • Respect nature and private property
  • GPS and apps cannot replace experience and common sense

4. Data Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but cannot guarantee its completeness or correctness. Data about obstacles, water levels, and POIs may be outdated.

We recommend: Verify all critical information from multiple sources before paddling.

5. Use at Your Own Risk

By using this service, you confirm that you understand the risks associated with river paddling and accept full responsibility for your safety.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this service.
